HYDERABAD: The Centre of Excellence in Art and Design (CEAD) of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, has organised a live demonstration by internationally-famed watercolourists Javid Tabatabaei from Iran and Pedja Acimovic from Serbia who visited the institute.
The visiting artists educated the students about different watercolour techniques of painting. They also taught the students by practically exhibiting and explaining how colors work with water in different painting techniques. Attending the training in large number, the students termed it to be beneficial through their academic career.
Speaking to the occasion, both of the artists emphasised on spreading the message of love around the globe through art. They said that art was the language of colours and carries message of love and peace beyond the borders. The visitors termed Pakistan as a multicultural country and said that they were impressed by the hospitality extended to them by the people from different areas, especially from Sindh province.
They further said that Pakistani people were peace loving and they have to spread message of peace throughout the world that would obviously promote their work of art and their image as a peace loving nation. CEAD Director Prof Dr Bhai Khan Shar and Department of Fine Art head Prof Ali Abbas Jafferi presented mementos to the guests and assured the students of organising such trainings in future as well.
