National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua Tuesday called on Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria. Matters pertaining t
o improving the bilateral relations including the recent worsening situation in Indian Held Kashmir came under discussion, said a Foreign Office statement.
Janjua expressed serious concerns over the ongoing human rights violations in Held Kashmir, saying:
̶0;The use of force will lead us now
here and only further worsen the fragile situation.”
̶0;Pakistan is deeply committed to the cause of Kashmir and support
s the resolution of this issue politically and according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people. Dialogue i
s the only way forward to resolve our disputes,” he added.
Janjua said that Pakistan was committed to resolving all outstanding issues through comprehensive dialogues. He reiterated that Pakistan was pursuing the policy of friendly relations with all its neighbouring countries, including normalcy of relationship with India. The Indian envoy acknowledged that Pakistan and India definitely needed t
o improve bilateral relations. He said,
̶0;Both countries have immense potential t
o improve the relationship and cater to each other’s needs.” He also suggested taking small steps t
o improve bilateral relations, including exchange of prisoners, visits of medical teams and trade initiatives.

s the bigger issues,” he added.
